Discovery partnership principles

Last updated: 4 August 2026

This text frames how Meşâle Platform relates to organizations and study participants in the Discovery Unit.

1. What this unit is

Discovery is Meşâle’s early research-partnership model, run under the **Discovery Unit**. The main flow is Field–Synthesis–Form: field findings are read with AI; initiative is taken by carrying them into form and qualified solution.

Discovery is for organizations, communities, and individual **research participants**. Early examples may include literary clubs, university writing societies, indie presses, and writers’ associations; Discovery is not limited to those.

The Discovery Unit is open to institutional and participant partnership.

2. Who it is for

**Collaboration lead (organization):** A representative offering a participant network or field access. Organization name is required at registration.

**Research participant:** A natural person who registers individually for the relevant study. A role or identity preference and an organization name may be asked depending on the study.

Registration happens on the relevant study page and is bound to that study.

3. What participation includes

Your contribution may be visible: with consent, your name or organization may be acknowledged in appropriate publications and communications.

An early look: a short briefing or early summary for those registered.

Let your voice enter the field: your experience feeds the public report and briefing.

Limits, data use, and the right to withdraw are set out clearly in the Discovery partnership frame.

Contribution is research partnership. If a separate commercial path opens, organizations that contributed receive written notice. Related networks or participants may receive an **optional** participation / early-access offer; acceptance is voluntary. Registered personal data are not automatically handed to a spin-out as a customer list.

4. Outputs

**Public report** — method summary, anonymized findings, recommendations.

**Participant briefing** — early summary for those registered.

**Initiative note (internal)** — initiative / qualified-solution evaluation arising from synthesis. Kept inside Meşâle; not published as a public research output. It is not a longer form of the public report or briefing.

The timing and order of outputs belong to Meşâle; they need not be simultaneous.

5. Data and withdrawal

Personal data are processed under the privacy notice.

6. FAQ

**When does the briefing arrive?** After the synthesis stage; via the registered channel. No fixed date is promised; order follows Meşâle’s publication plan.

**Can the method expand?** The main model Field–Synthesis–Form stays fixed. Research design and the technique set are chosen per study and may grow.

**If there is a spin-out, what happens to the network?** An optional offer may open; there is no mandatory transfer or customer-list handoff.
